The Delta ICE’s Temperature Controlled Insert is an aluminum insert featuring integrated, built-in NIST traceable sensors that promote temperature uniformity and an even thaw, eliminating hot spots. This SMART technology maintains two (2) 500ml of whole blood for 48 hours at 2-6°C and eliminates the need for glycol.
We recommend purchasing an additional Temperature Control Insert with the purchase of each Delta ICE Smart Blood Cooler.
